Had The Rival Dentists Both Read "The Social Contract", Perhaps There'd Be No Warring Over The Shortage On Yanking Pliers
'Believe I shall traverse to the local book merchant for the latest treatise on animal husbands and its impact on the autumn harvest demons.
My initial foray into puzzling was one I had hoped to complete in short order. This is a 300-piece Buffalo Puzzle from the Charles Wysocki Collection (probably a former notary and fancy hat admirer from Lenexa, Kansas) entitled The Bookstore. From my recent searchings of what is in the puzzle orbit, most of the Wysocki collection has a similar old Americana art style lacking a vanishing point but would likely look terrific on a quilt that your aunt might use as a springboard to bombarding the family at Thanksgiving with a nuclear-level rant about any number of uncomfortable and controversial topics in her Ted Nugent Christmas sweater. For me, I quiet enjoy this sort of Joe Pesci's Mom from Goodfellas environ. One horse looks one way, one horse is looking the other way and this guy over here is looking at camera with a look like "What? You gotta problem with Joseph Smith? You think you're better than me because you think my britches aren't going to be my ticket to salvation? That's it....it's go time!"
I do say, these walking slabs for both me and my thresher canine was a capital idea.
I was admittedly hoping to finish this one in a short period of time. 90 minutes had passed when I had inserted the final piece. I recently decided to give jigsaw puzzling a whirl to fill in the days where others weren't available for board gaming. Upon completion, I was pricing puzzle boards, thinking about starting this blog for no reason and looking for more information on YouTube. Puzzling and board games (namely modern ones) rest on a similar axis of planning ahead, looking at multiple angles and listening to hours of Enslaved while doing so.With its lower piece count and subtle but raging middle America theme, I quite enjoyed this. It reminds of a simpler time when men were men, horses didn't require unleaded fuel and silly harlots took their sinful ways into the deep woods as to not frighten the children.
